Peter is the Chief Financial Officer at Betterment and joined in 2016. In his role, Peter oversees the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, corporate development, treasury, tax, and enterprise risk functions. Before joining Betterment, Peter was head of strategic finance at OnDeck Capital. At OnDeck, he was responsible for the company’s financial planning and corporate finance initiatives, including the company’s IPO in 2014. Peter began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was in the Financial Institutions Group of the firm’s Investment Banking Division. Peter holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Duke University.
