Tyler Dietrich, a Managing Director in SVB's Strategic Capital Group, is based in New York City. The Strategic Capital Group provides flexible capital options (mainly mezzanine and convertible debt) for growth-stage technology companies. Since inception the group has provided over $6.8B in commitments to some 330 companies nationwide and in Europe and Israel. Tyler focuses most of his time finding and investing in great companies across multiple sectors within the technology industry.

In 2011, Tyler started his professional career at FactSet, a financial technology company, playing roles in both business development and strategy for a number of years. From there, in 2014, he joined SVB in the Boston office and has held different roles across the bank in Boston, San Francisco, and New York, most recently leading the New York Enterprise and Frontier Tech teams until joining Strategic Capital.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Boston University's Questrom School of Business. He's also completed academic work in economics and finance at The London School of Economics as well as The University of Auckland.
