Dave has spent almost two decades financing companies across the innovation ecosystem. Prior to founding HSBC Innovation Banking, he spent ten years at SVB where he ran the Technology & Healthcare business for North America, and another eight years as a life sciences investment banker at Canaccord Genuity.

Dave obtained dual degrees in both Economics and French at Santa Clara University. He subsequently completed an Executive Program focused on Leadership & Strategic Impact at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.

Dave lives in Mill Valley, California with his wife and three children and currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Kelly Brush Foundation - an organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering people with spinal cord injuries to lead active and engaged lives.
